Cynthia A. Pearson is treasurer on the NBCC board of directors and executive director of the National Women's Health Network (NWHN). She is responsible for representing the network's position to Congress and federal agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health. In addition to her responsibilities on the NBCC board of directors, Ms. Pearson represents NWHN on the steering committee of the National Action Plan on Breast Cancer, where she is co-chair for the Etiology Working Group. Previously, Ms. Pearson served as executive director at Womancare, a community-based clinic in San Diego, California. In the past 12 years she has presented addresses on women's health care at many symposia, conferences, and annual meetings throughout the United States. Ms. Pearson resides in Washington, DC.
