National Breast Cancer Coalition

Welcome to the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s Breast Cancer Caucus 2012.

In 2010, NBCC announced Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®, a call to action to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020. Achieving this goal will take an entirely new approach to the way we think about, research, and talk about breast cancer. NBCC knows this will not be easy. We also know we cannot do it alone.  We need our leaders to be a part of Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.

The next four years will be a critical period for Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®. Therefore, it is vital the Presidential candidates understand that women and men across this country want to see an end to breast cancer, that they believe Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® is the path to this goal, and that they are looking to the next President to lead our nation forward towards it.

We need our next President to demonstrate leadership and commit to making the end of breast cancer a national priority. In order for this to happen, President Obama and Governor Romney must hear from each of you. They must hear why Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® is important and why their leadership is needed.

NBCC has designed Breast Cancer Caucus 2012 as a platform for reaching out to the next President – through our petition, through emails, at campaign rallies, by letters to the editors. Now, we need you to ask President Obama and Governor Romney to declare their support for Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® and let all of us know what they would do as President to achieve its goal to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020.

Working together, we can ensure Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®’s success and end breast cancer once and for all. Are you with us?
