Breast cancer will claim the lives of more than 40,000 women and men in the US this year. Take action to end this disease. The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) is mobilizing breast cancer advocates and community leaders at the grassroots level to organize Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® Action Networks to advance the mission of ending breast cancer by January 1, 2020.
Join others in your state who have pledged their commitment to:
• Educate advocates and others who care about Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.
• Mobilize individuals to take action.
• Communicate with new NBCC members in your area about Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.
• Recruit new individuals and organizations to support Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.
• Develop local outreach strategies with the help of NBCC.
Action Networks are powered by the local knowledge and work of area activists, and assisted and coordinated by staff in the national office. NBCC provides technical assistance and materials including Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® toolkits, localized information to promote outreach and engagement, regular updates on campaign developments, NBCC legislative and public policy priorities, and email Action Alerts.
