in women worldwide.

In 2008, 1.4 million women from around the world received a breast cancer diagnosis. In 2015, it is estimated that the figure will grow to 1.6 million women globally. It will continue to rise to an estimated 2.2 million in 2030.

In 2008, 458,503 women died of breast cancer around the world. This number is predicted to rise to 747,802 deaths in 2030.
