We declared a mission 20 years ago—an end to breast cancer. We will settle for no less. We can’t count on hope as a strategy to end breast cancer. We need a plan, a goal, a means for holding ourselves and others accountable. Today, we’ve discovered a new weapon in the battle to end breast cancer.
The end of breast cancer. January 1, 2020. A deadline changes everything and makes the impossible possible. Today new words get spoken. New thoughts get thought. The context changes. January 1, 2020. That date changes everything. It’s time for a single-minded, impassioned, consolidated, global conversation undertaken with the highest possible purpose. This will be one of the most difficult, most challenging things any of us has ever attempted. Our loved ones deserve nothing less.
Together, with your support, we will focus the administration, U.S. Congress, research institutions and consumer advocates on breast cancer. Take your first step in becoming an advocate for action and change by giving at one of the levels below.
