National Breast Cancer Coalition

Urge Your Representatives to Cosponsor HR 6114 Today!

Our grassroots network is doing great work gaining cosponsors in support of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act, H.R. 6114, legislation to waive the 24 month waiting period for Medicare eligibility and the 5 month waiting period for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits for individuals with metastatic breast cancer.

A total of 58 Representatives have cosponsored to date. But there is more work to do.

We need your help to reach our goal of 100 cosponsors by the end of September. The week of September 24th is the last week to get cosponsors before the House breaks for recess.

Please reach out to your Representatives and ask them to cosponsor H.R. 6114. Click here for a list of actions.

Please have your Representatives contact Deena Tauster in Representative King’s office at deena.tauster@mail.house.gov or (202) 225-7896 to cosponsor this legislation. Also, please let NBCC know if your Representative has agreed to sign on so we can keep a running record as well.

As always, thank you for your important advocacy on behalf of the National Breast Cancer Coalition and our mission to end breast cancer!
