Welcome to the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s Breast Cancer Caucus 2012.
In September 2010, NBCC announced Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®, a call to action to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020. Achieving this goal will take an entirely new approach to the way we think about, research and talk about breast cancer. We must change the conversation about breast cancer wherever it is happening – including in the White House.
NBCC is once again organizing Breast Cancer Caucus. Breast Cancer Caucus 2012 will educate NBCC members, as well as the more than 2.5 million women in the United States living with breast cancer, their families and friends about where the 2012 Presidential Candidates stand on the legislative and public policy priorities important to NBCC and women living with breast cancer.
Additionally, we have requested that each candidate submit a video answering the question “Do you support Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®? If so, as Presidentof the United States what would you do to achieve its goal to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020?”
Now we need each of you – as voters who care about issues surrounding breast cancer and supporters of Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® - along with your friends and family - to email the Presidential Candidates urging them to participate in Breast Cancer Caucus 2012 and let the country know where they stand on the issue of ending breast cancer once and for all.
If you are affiliated with a Presidential Campaign and would like to participate in Breast Cancer Caucus, please contact us.
