Building Leaders at the Inaugural Advocate Leadership Summit - Join Us!
In 2013, our Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® efforts are focused on building leadership at all levels. To strengthen our grassroots leadership across the country, we will convene a completely unique summit of leaders this year. Join us at the Inaugural Advocate Leadership Summit in Washington DC, May 4-6, 2013. This meeting will provide attendees with life-long leadership skills and just-in-time strategies as well as Big Ideas and advanced learning. Leaders also will experience small group interactions with researchers and thought leaders. |

Register now and we can reserve your place at the Inaugural Advocate Leadership Summit; you must commit to attending by March 31, 2013 but may continue working toward your fundraising goal through May 4, 2013. |

But questions have been raised about how well mouse model study results translate to human biology. Most recently, these questions have been raised in the areas of sepsis, burns and trauma. Lobby Day
NBCC’s Annual Lobby Day on Capitol Hill will immediately follow the Inaugural Advocate Leadership Summit on Tuesday, May 7. Whether you’ve attended the Inaugural Advocate Leadership Summit or not, all are welcome and encouraged to join this immensely empowering day. We expect busloads of advocates arrive on Capitol Hill prepared and ready to discuss NBCC’s top priorities and urge their representatives to support government actions that will move public policy toward our goal of ending breast cancer.
Advocates interested in joining NBCC for Lobby Day who are not attending the May 4-6 Inaugural Advocate Leadership Summit are welcome to travel to Washington, DC, to participate.
